Under the Telepanel name, NRT Technology Corp. develops, manufactures, and supplies electronic shelf label (ESL) systems for use in the retail industry and, in particular, the supermarket sector.

The Telepanel system enables retailers to change product pricing and certain other information displayed at the store shelf, without the traditional labour-intensive replacement of adhesive paper labels. The information displayed on electronic LCD modules, attached to store shelf edges, is changed through the use of a central computer and a unique radio frequency communications technology that links information on the retailer's store shelves to that in its electronic checkout scanning system.

The Telepanel system is a worldwide network compatible with state and international laws and regulations. Telepanel currently has over 2.0 million modules installed in premier grocery stores throughout North America and Europe.
