Global Cash Access forms alliance with NRT Technology Corporation to enhance self-serve redemption kiosks with cash access services

Las Vegas, NV – November 19, 2003 - Global Cash Access (GCA), the leading supplier of cash access and customer-relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry, has formed an alliance with NRT Technology Corporation (NRT) to incorporate GCA’s ATM, debit, and credit card cash advance services with NRT’s QuickJack Plus multi-function patron kiosk for casinos. NRT is a leader in designing and building transaction-based technologies for the retail and gaming markets, including point-of-service (POS) and price verification systems, interactive dispensing kiosks for casinos, and Cary-branded keyboards and peripherals.

"Casinos are continuously striving to serve patrons more efficiently, and self-service kiosks that provide several services, from cash access to payout functions, help achieve this goal," said Tom Sears, executive vice president of business development for GCA. "Now, gaming properties have access to one machine that incorporates an array of convenient services from two industry-leading vendors."

QuickJack Plus offers casino patrons a user-friendly, intuitive interface that allows them to cash in slot tickets, vouchers and coupons, perform ATM, debit and credit card cash advance transactions, redeem players’ club points, and break bills to exchange currency. Other functions, such as showing ticket purchases and restaurant reservations, can be made available based on gaming properties’ needs.

"With the development of ticket-in ticket-out slot machines, casino patrons are becoming more familiar and comfortable with this method of cash redemption," said John Dominelli, president of NRT Technology Corporation. "By integrating GCA’s industry-leading cash access services and technology into our kiosks, we can offer a complete solution that helps casinos reduce lines at the cage, improve customer service, and enhance the overall gaming experience."

Under the agreement, GCA’s Casino Cash Plus® 3-in-1 ATM will be incorporated into the QuickJack Plus machine. The Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM, one of GCA’s most popular ATMs, is widely accepted due to its convenience to casino patrons and proven profitability to casino operators. It has a patented roll-over feature that gives patrons the option of obtaining funds through ATM cash withdrawals, credit card cash advances, or POS debit cash advances. If a patron is denied one of the transactions types requested, the Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM automatically gives the option of obtaining funds through another transaction method.

All of the cash access functions, including debit and credit authorizations, on the QuickJack Plus kiosk will be provided and managed by GCA through an independent contract. NRT will continue to sell, install, and maintain the QuickJack Plus kiosk. Patrons familiar with GCA cash access machines will notice the QuickJack Plus kiosk screen reacts and appears just like the screens on other GCA devices.

NRT and GCA expect the device to be fully functional with GCA’s cash access services by the first quarter of 2004.
