Global Cash Access' QuickJack Plus multi-function kiosk certified by Gaming Laboratories International and Nevada Gaming Laboratory
Las Vegas, NV – November 5, 2004 - Global Cash Access (GCA), the leading supplier of cash access and customer relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry, has received regulatory approval from both the Nevada Gaming Laboratory and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) to incorporate its 3-in-1 ATM functionality into the QuickJack Plus multi-function patron kiosk.
GCA anticipates that QuickJack Plus, recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Innovative New Gaming Products of 2003, will eventually replace standard ATMs on the casino floor.
Through an alliance with NRT Technology Corporation, QuickJack Plus incorporates GCA's Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM, which includes a patented roll-over feature that gives patrons the option of obtaining funds through ATM cash withdrawals, credit card cash advance, or POS debit cash advances. QuickJack Plus offers casino patrons a user-friendly, intuitive interface that allows them to redeem slot tickets, vouchers and coupons, perform ATM, debit and credit card cash advance transactions, redeem players' club points for complimentary services and cash, and break bills to exchange currency. Other functions, such as show ticket purchases, restaurant reservations, or general information can be made available based on gaming properties' needs.
"In today’s market, customer service will be what distinguishes one property from another. Casino operators are looking for solutions that are capable today, but are scalable for the future. QuickJack Plus has demonstrated its ability to respond to the casino’s operational and customer service needs. As a technology development company, we are working hard to be a one-stop provider to the industry by aligning ourselves with best-of-breed partners such as Global Cash Access," said John Dominelli, president of NRT Technology Corporation.
"Certification from GLI and the Nevada lab demonstrates our commitment to provide technologically advanced products that allow casinos to serve their patrons efficiently while reducing lines at the cage, improving customer service and enhancing a casino's overall gaming experience," said Tom Sears, executive vice president of business development for GCA.
"Many large casino operators have been waiting for this approval, and as patrons become more familiar with cashless technology at slot machines, including ticket redemption devices, a complete kiosk such as QuickJack Plus helps casinos invest their capital resources more wisely and provides a consistent service platform for patrons," added Sears. "We're excited to begin this roll-out as QuickJack Plus is just one example of the many cashless gaming products we will be bringing to the market."
GLI is the world's leading gaming products and systems testing company. Suppliers may apply for and receive the Gaming Labs Certified Mark in conjunction with their gaming equipment and systems products. The certification mark was necessary to establish for gaming regulators that the equipment under their jurisdiction has been tested and certified against GLI standards. The Nevada approval enables Nevada-licensed operators who have already installed QuickJack Plus units to add GCA's Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM immediately.
