Gaming Standards Association welcomes six new international members
Las Vegas, NV - June 29, 2004 – The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has welcomed six new members, increasing its total worldwide membership. Intralot S.A. of Athens, Greece, has joined as a Gold Member. Joining as Silver Members were Cory Investments of Pennsylvania, Kare Technology of Moscow, NRT Technology Corporation of Toronto, New York City-based SGC-Link Corporation, and Video Gaming Technologies, Inc., of Roebuck, SC. Ohio-based test lab Nick Farley & Associates joined ranks as an Advisory Member.
The new members cross industry disciplines, including lottery, slot manufacturing and testing, and bring the non-profit's continually growing global membership to 64.
The increase in membership is the latest in a string of good news flowing from GSA, including the recent release of the organization's landmark BOB and S2S standards, release of the GSA SAS(TM) Tool Kit and receipt of U.S. Congressional recognition.
GSA Board Chairman Gregg Solomon said, "For the past six years, GSA has been working hard to bring required standards to the gaming industry, which we firmly believe will benefit the entire industry. It is gratifying to see our membership continue to expand around the world and across disciplines."
Membership in GSA is open to gaming manufacturers, suppliers, operators, regulatory bodies, and by invitation, industry affiliates interested in promoting and shaping the future of technical protocols for the casino gaming industry.
GSA's groundbreaking standards are free to GSA members and no per use license fees are required. There are several levels of membership, ranging from Platinum to Silver, and each come with varying levels of privilege, including committee participation. A Supporting Membership category is also available with Platinum, Gold and Silver levels, each with their own privileges and different access to all released GSA standards.
