Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2005

President of NRT an Ontario region finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2005

Toronto, ON - July 19, 2005 – John Dominelli, president of NRT Technology Corp., is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2005. The award celebrates the best in Canadian entrepreneurship, honouring those extraordinary men and women whose hard-earned success has made a positive difference in their communities and around the world.

Mr Dominelli is one of 175 regional finalists that were chosen from an impressive list of best-in-class entrepreneurs. The finalists, chosen by independent panels of judges for their business leadership, determination, and vision, will compete for an award at gala celebrations in each of the five regions this fall. Mr Dominelli is nominated for the award under the technology and communication business category.

"I am truly honoured and excited to be a finalist for the Ontario region," stated Mr Dominelli. "It's a wonderful acknowledgement. Being a finalist validates all the hard work and bold risks that I've taken over the years as an entrepreneur."

A finalist in each business category will be presented with a regional category award during a gala celebration on October 6, 2005, with one category recipient then being awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year title for Ontario. The Ontario award recipient goes on to compete with top entrepreneurs from the Pacific, Prairies, Quebec, and Atlantic regions for the coveted national honour of Entrepreneur of the Year, to be announced November 3, 2005 in Ottawa. In June 2006, Canada's Entrepreneur of the Year joins more than 35 country recipients, participating in the international competition for the title of World Entrepreneur of the Year.
