President of NRT received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 Ontario award for technology and communications
Toronto, ON - October 11, 2005 – John Dominelli, president of NRT Technology Corp., received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 Ontario award for technology and communications. Each business category award celebrates the best in Canadian entrepreneurship, honouring those extraordinary men and women whose hard-earned success has made a positive difference in their communities and around the world.
Mr Dominelli received his award in the technology and communications business category at a gala celebration on October 6, 2005. This year, the gala was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
"I'm ecstatic about winning the Entrepreneur of the Year award for technology and communications," admitted Mr Dominelli. "It was truly a delightful gala. Being surrounded by talented entrepreneurs in such a magnificent setting was both an honour and a treat. Over the years, everyone at NRT has worked hard and has made the company what it is today. I am grateful for everyone's dedication and support. This award validates the enormous strides that we have made over the years."

A recipient in each business category was presented with a regional category award during the gala celebration, with one category recipient then being awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year title for Ontario. This year, this prestigious title went to Ellis Jacob, president and CEO of movie theatre powerhouse Cineplex Galaxy LP.
"I was touched by Mr Ellis' perseverance and spirit as an entrepreneur," Mr Dominelli shared. "I was happy that he won. He is the perfect entrepreneurial representative for Ontario. I wish him all the best when he competes for Canada's Entrepreneur of the Year next month."
