Canadian Parking Equipment
In 1965, Canadian Parking Equipment (CPE) opened its first office in Windsor Ontario, under the name of Automated Parking Devices (Canada). As one of the parking equipment industry’s pioneers, the company occupied a 4,000-square-foot office and manufacturing plant, which serviced the entire North American market.
Products offered by CPE include turnkey-off street parking access and revenue control systems for small to medium-sized operators. Frequent customers include hospitals, hotels, casinos, off-airport parking, and many other industries.
The current product mix offers a choice of on- and offline magnetic stripe systems, or barcode revenue systems. Recent reseller relationships allow the company to boast the widest line of parking barrier gates available in the industry. CPE customers with more stringent reporting requirements may take advantage of an in-house-developed Windows software suite to provide the real-time information and reports needed to manage a high volume lot.
