Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), a Crown agency, was created by the Government of Ontario on April 1, 2000. The OLG operates 15 slot machine facilities at racetracks, and five charity casinos. The OLG also owns and maintains authority over three commercial casinos in Ontario: Casino Windsor, Casino Niagara, and Casino Rama.
The solution
In November 2002, the OLG selected NRT to provide QuickJack attendant services systems for seven of its slot facilities at racetracks. The systems provide quick and efficient jackpot redemption through the OLG's Mikohn, a CasinoLinkTM slot management system.
These QuickJack units also provide bill breaking capabilities to the property's slot attendants.
