Casino du Lac-Leamy
The Casino du Lac-Leamy is located between Leamy Lake and Lac de la Carrière. As a result, beauty surrounds the building, with fountains and the nearby harbour that has more than 20 boat slips.
The gaming area now measures over 6,500 square feet, including more than 1,800 slot machines and 64 gaming tables for a total of over 2,500 gaming spaces spread around a simulated tropical forest. Since July 2001, the Casino du Lac-Leamy is a non-smoking facility, with the exception of a separate gaming area that remains reserved for smokers, and designated smoking areas.
For a gourmet experience, a light snack, or a buffet feast, the Casino du Lac-Leamy caters to all. It alone has five restaurants and two bars. The hotel offers two restaurants and two bars.
The spectacular performance hall, the Théâtre du Casino, can accommodate 1,001 spectators in its ultra-comfortable and spacious seats. The Casino du Lac-Leamy also contains the Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel and Conference Centre, which is minutes from Ottawa's Parliament Buildings and the National Capital Region's main attractions. The Hilton Lac Leamy features 349 spacious rooms and offers all the modern conveniences for business or pleasure.
