Casino Yellowhead
The western-themed Casino Yellowhead is located in a northern industrial area of the city of Edmonton near the busy east-west Yellowhead Trail. It is reportedly one of the largest casinos in the province. It is also the largest of the four Alberta casinos privately owned by Heinz Oldach's Casino ABS.
Casino Yellowhead opened in August 2000 at a cost of $16 million. This facility was essentially a replacement for the city’s Casino ABS Downtown.
Casino Yellowhead is over 75,000 square feet. The property features 34 table games and over 760 slot machines. There is also a poker room with fifteen tables. The property also has three restaurants, a cabaret stage, and three waterfalls.
